Leesburg city manager’s presentation offers details on proposed Villages land deal

The Leesburg City Commission on Monday night voted 4-1 to enter into a possible $11.9 million land deal with The Villages.

The purchase of the property at the south end of the city would provide land for 4,500 new homes that would be part of The Villages.
