Detectives seeking pair that fled with laptop in pickup from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge

Sumter County sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a pair believed to have stolen a laptop computer earlier this month from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge in The Villages.

A man and woman on Jan. 20 entered the Wal-Mart on Wedgewood Lan where they loaded several items into a cart. The woman exited the store prior to the man and the male later proceeds to exit the store. The male then took a laptop from the cart and goes out a fire exit where he is seen on surveillance entering the bed of a waiting Ford F-150 and departing the scene.
