Man arrested earlier this year at Wal-Mart back behind bars

A man arrested in February at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza is back behind bars after violating his probation in that case.

Victor Buckner, 25, was picked up Friday and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on a probation violation.

He had been sentenced to one year’s probation on May 26 in Sumter County Court. He had pleaded no contest to a charge of petit theft. In return a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia had been dropped.

On June 30, a violation of probation warrant was issued.

Buckner and a woman were arrested in February at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza. You can read more about their arrests HERE.
