Local effort to help pets misplaced by Moore, Okla. tornado

Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital in The Villages is gathering items to support distressed and misplaced pets from the May 20 tornado in Moore, Okla.

The facility is accepting items such as food, treats, crates, medicines, blankets, bedding and toys. The items will be taken out to Moore by a local couple in an RV. The deadline for dropping off items is June 13.
