Robert “Bob” G. Brown, 80, passed away Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013. Mr. Brown was born in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelors and Masters degree from Penn State University went on to become the Founding Director of the Mercer County Career Center (formerly Mercer County Vocational – Technical School). He moved to Central Florida in 1992 and enjoyed every minute of living, golfing (five career aces) and playing bridge in The Villages. Bob was married to his true love Sandy for over 55 years. He joins his wife, Sandra, who passed in 2009 and son Jeff who passed in 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Jeanne Slazinik, his son, Rob Brown and daughter in law June Brown. He also has four grandchildren: Danny Slazinik, Ian Slazinik, Emily Brown and Rachel Brown. A memorial service will be held July 13th at 11:00am at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, FL.
