Ester Blanche Pearce, 80, Weirsdale, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in The Villages, FL following a battle with lung cancer. Blanche was born on June 9, 1933 in Palestine, WV. She worked for years as a nurse’s aide at Harry Anna Crippled Children’s Hospital in Umatilla, FL. She enjoyed quilting, crafting and yard sales.
Survivors include her children: Danny (Kathy) Pearce, Wildwood, FL; Randy (Sherry) Pearce, Brooksville, FL; Alan (Shamie) Pearce, Weirsdale, FL; Misty (Mike) Sigler, Altoona, FL; Mitzi (Wade) Smith, Fort McCoy, FL; sister Wanda Cline, Elizabeth, WV; 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Pearce, daughter Colleen Pearce, brother Russell Hall and her parents Lois Woodyard and Bert Hall.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
