A 74-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a golf accident at about 2 p.m. Tuesday at 1005 Bichara Boulevard.
The man was taken to The Villages Regional Hospital for treatment, said acting Villages Public Safety Chief Edmund Cain.
The golf cart driver was headed north when a car, also northbound, attempted to turn into the Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell parking lot. The car turned into the path of the golf cart.
