Residents of the Village of Sabal Chase are hoping to help one of their own neighbors.
Gary Hendricks is awaiting a kidney transplant. He is facing huge medical bills.
He is well known as “Gary the DJ” in The Villages.
A spring fling fundraising dance will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23 at Colony Cottage Recreation Center.
“Just Mike” will be providing entertainment for the dance. The event will be BYOB and those attending are asked to bring an appetizer to share with their neighbors.
The cost of tickets is $10 per person if purchased before March 22. The price at the door will be $12.
Tickets will also be sold beginning March 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Sabal Chase mailboxes.
