Registration for The Lily golf tournament will begin Saturday.
There will be a limit of 216 entries.
The 14th annual event is set for Saturday, July 19 at Glenview Champions Golf Course.
Last year, the event raised $51,000 to support Alzheimer’s Family Organization and Alzheimer’s Association, Central & North Florida.
The event has raised $336,800 since its inception.
The Lily was founded by Villager Deb Schlofman in 2001 when her mother, Lily, passed away after struggling with Alzheimer’s for seven years. Prior to being afflicted with this horrible disease, Lily had been a very active, athletic, and healthy woman.
Deb died in December 2009 despite being an active, athletic, and healthy woman herself.
