Best-selling author Richard Miniter will speak Thursday evening at a joint meeting of The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County and the Republican Club of Sumter Landing.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Savannah Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Miniter appeared on the Sean Hannity Show on March 10 and 14, introducing his new book, “Eyes on Target: Inside Stories from the Brotherhood of the U.S. Navy SEALs.” During the Hannity appearances, he also spoke about the missing Air Malaysia plane.
Miniter will be signing copies of the book beginning at 6:30 p.m.
His other books have included “Leading from Behind,” “Losing Bin Laden” and “Shadow War.”
You do not have to be a member of the clubs to attend the event.
Refreshments and socializing will be a part of the program.
