Rep. Marlene O’Toole votes against measure to raise speed limit to 75 mph

State Rep. Marlene O’Toole, R-The Villages, voted against a bill to raise the speed limit on most major highways in Florida from 70 to 75 miles per hour.

The bill narrowly passed on a 58-56 vote.

The bill is now headed to the desk of Gov. Rick Scott.
