A driver was ticketed after a mishap Monday afternoon on the Morse Boulevard bridge at Lake Sumter in The Villages.
The driver of a silver Hyundai sport utility vehicle was attempting a U-turn at about 2:45 p.m. when the vehicle got stuck on the barrier between the vehicle and golf cart lanes of travel, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
No one was injured, though there was some confusion on the bridge. The driver of the SUV was cited for making an improper U-turn.
