The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 22in the north parking lot of the Savannah Center.
The club will be gathering to kickoff Memorial Day weekend with a patriotic golf cart rally. The group will caravan to Veteran’s Memorial Park where Sumter County Commissioner Doug Gilpin will speak. Ice cream will be served following his remarks. Then its onto Spanish Springs to enjoy the entertainment at the square.
The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County, recognized as the largest Republican club in Florida, meets the fourth Thursday of the month, January through October.
