To the Editor:
Sure glad to see a great number of Villages love the flowers along with the officials running this department. They make the Villages so beautiful. The comment I would like to make is the matter of the amount of dog owners walking their dogs in other than their own yards allowing them to do their duty heavy or light in the grass, bush’s, flower beds etc. This is done at the mailbox’s, horse-shoe pits, bocci courts, golf courses, and all over the town squares. I then see the hard working weeders on their hands and knees picking weeds which to me is not very healthy. I know this will pitch me as not a dog lover, however, I had dogs in our family for the kids to enjoy until they all left the nest and I made sure our dogs did their duty in our (their) own yards!
