A Summerfield couple committed suicide together on Monday, leaving a detailed note about how to care for their dogs and financial matters.
The couple has been identified as Timothy and Michele Thomasson.
They were found by a family member who called the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The couple were found on their bed, each with gunshots wounds to their heads.
Michele Thomasson, 50, had reportedly lost her job and was worried about her 53-year-old husband who had gone through several back surgeries.
The couple had been married more than two decades.
