A 22-year-old Oxford woman was arrested by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy Saturday night at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge.
Jamie Stephanie Thalgott is facing a charge of retail theft after she allegedly tried to conceal $37.69 worth of items in a backpack and leave the store without paying for them.
She was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $500.
