To the Editor:
Yesterday, I drove over to the Polo Fields to ask my Husband a question. He was practicing with the Villages Track and Field Team (javelin). I pulled my car over to talk. Dumb me! A group of men softball players were hitting balls over the road toward my car. They yelled for me to move. Another ball went over my car before I could get away. Another man yelled at me. Later, the javelin people had 2 balls come toward them. Hey—maybe we can be safe and hit the balls away from the road.
