
Isabelle Bender Masterton, 92, of Lady Lake, FL passed away of natural causes on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Lexington Park Assisted Living, in Lady Lake, FL surrounded by family. She was born March 20, 1922 at home in Paterson, NJ. Isabelle was the only child of Isabella R. and Oscar Bender. She graduated from Ramsey High School and resided in Wyckoff, NJ and West Milford, NJ before moving to The Villages in 2009. Isabelle worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant before retiring. She was a volunteer at Kurth Kottage at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ and was a 50 year member of the Women’s Club of Wyckoff, NJ. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Hugh M. Masterton. She is survived by her two daughters, Daryl M. Stender of the Villages and Kyle M. Schultz and her husband, Dana of the Villages, five grandchildren: Stacie Nelcoski and her husband, Matthew, Courtney Schultz and his wife, Kathleen, Derek Stender, Ashley Sayen and her husband, Joseph, Brett Stender and five great grandchildren: Sean Schultz, Madison Sayen, Joseph Sayen, Jason Schultz and William Sayen. A private family memorial service will be held at a future date. Isabelle will be interred in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
