The son of Villager Vera Johnson has developed an application that provides users with daily inspiration and encouragement through videos, images, and news stories.

Jarrell Liner of Houston has launched Goodspire and it is available for smart phones from either iTunes or Google Play.

Liner said his application is about bringing about social change in the world, one user at a time, through the application of mobile technology.

“Our goal is simple. We just want to give you that little push that you need every day to go out and be the best person that you can be,” Liner said.

Since being launched this week, the application has seen significant growth in its user base, he added.

“We are so proud of Jarrell, and know that this application will be a great success for his company,” said Johnson, who lives in the Village of Pennecamp with her husband, Kenneth.
