A benefit car wash will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Tire Roundup, 217 S. U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.
The event will benefit business owner Tracy Grover of Lady Lake who is battling stage 4 lung cancer.
She and her husband Jeff Grover have been operating Tire Roundup since 1989.
“Jeff has taken a leave from the family business to care for her,” said family friend Mary Shaner.
Shaner’s Relay for Life team is putting on Saturday’s event which will also include a bake sale and chance drawing.
The group is looking forĀ services, gift cards, or basket items to useĀ at the event’s chance drawing table.
“We would like the community to come together and support a long-time local family business,” Shaner said.
