A missing Dachshund is on the loose running on a red retractable leash.
The missing dog is named Ty and belongs to Joanne Hawks of 17360 SE 76th Corapeake Court in the Village of Chatham.
Ty is described as red, 2 years old and very skittish. He is especially afraid of men.
“Ty is probably scared to death because of the noise the leash contraption makes as he runs,” Hawks said.
The dog went missing in the Village of Chatham, near Corapeake Court/Legacy Drive/Amberwood and Oakley golf courses.
Ty has a collar with Marion County Rabies Tag and blue/white PetLink Microchip tag.
