The long-awaited reopening of Orange Blossom Hills Country Club is almost here.
The renovated restaurant on the Historic Side of The Villages will celebrate its reopening with an official ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17.
Fred Karimipour, who also runs Bonifay, Evans Prairie and Belle Glade country club restaurants is now running the Orange Blossom restaurant.
The restaurant, built in the mid-1980s, is a Villages original. Many Villagers have fond memories of seeing Harold Schwartz golfing at Orange Blossom Hills Golf Course, the oldest 18-hole championship golf course in The Villages. He was a regular at the restaurant.
