A 37-year-old Orlando woman was arrested by Lady Lake police after she allegedly tried to return items at Kohl’s that had not been purchased at the store.
Police were called to the store Friday after a loss prevention officer contacted law enforcement.
Fnu Parveen is accused of returning items to the store on June 30, Oct. 21 and Nov. 28 and receiving cash for them. However, the items had not been purchased at the store.
Parveen is facing a charge of scheming to defraud swindle. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $5,000 bond.
