Villager held without bond after violating probation

A 30-year-old resident of The Villages was arrested Wednesday on a Marion County warrant charging him with violating his probation.

Todd L. Fitzgerald was taken into custody by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

He had originally been charged with possession of methamphetamine.

He was being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
