With this victory Fross ended in a tie with Mulberry for first place and was declared the champions based on their earlier head to head win over Mulberry. The win was paced by 3 hits from both Dan McPherson and John Gouin with John hitting a 2 run homer. Pitcher Jim Joseph helped his own cause with a double, triple and 2 RBI’s while Jack Nagle added 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. SRG got 3 hits from Dick Adams and 2 more from John Kushner in the loss.
MULBERRY 11 ARDEN 3
Mulberry jumped out to a 6 run led and ran away from Arden to finish second in the league. They were led by a big day from Tom Ramberg who had 3 hits including a 2 run homer and 5 RBI’s. Ed DeMaio and Marty Berger both had 2 hits and an RBI in the win. In the loss Arden got 2 hits from both Tom Bolte and David Blandford.

Down 6 runs early, PDR came back behind Denis Hodge’s 3 hits and 3 RBI’s while sub Mike Bernbach added 2 hits and an RBI. Harlan got 2 hits from Chick Cicatelli, 3 RBI’s from Ken Atkinson and 2 RBI’s from Ev Rhyner.
HUMANA 15 BABIARZ 6
Humana’s win was led by 3 hits each from Tom McGann, Bob Roth and Bob Jacques while Vin Stebbins added 2 hits and 5 RBI’s. In the loss Chuck Mays and Jerry Jensen both had 3 hits for Babiarz.
IHOP 16 PERKINS 2
The win was led by 3 hits each from Duane Broschat, John Buchanan and Jim Lambert. Jim had a 3 run homer and 4 RBI’s. Perkins got 2 hits from Randy Bowen and Sonny LeGrand in the loss.
3AMIGOS 16 SYNERGY WEALTH 6
Dave Hinkley had a big day for 3Amigos banging out 4 hits and driving in 5 run’s. He was supported by Mark Hildebrand’s 3 doubles and 2 RBI’s and by Dale Moses’s 3 hits and 2 RBI’s. Synergy was led by Jim Creed’s 3 hits while Paul Justice, Ed Wyks and Bud Ramsey all added 2 hits. One of Bud’s hits was a solo homer.
