The Project Wide Advisory Committee took no action on a request for speed bumps at the entrance to the Haciendas of Mission Hills.

A group of residents from that Village showed up Monday at the PWAC meeting to oppose the proposed speed bumps.

Residents said they represented their friends and neighbors who all opposed the speed bumps. They cited wear and tear on golf carts, and worries about people with bad backs and other medical conditions.

There are stop signs in place on the multi-modal path where it intersects with the road.

The item had been placed on the agenda by PWAC representative from CDD 9 Steve Printz, however, Printz was not present at Monday’s meeting due to jury duty.
