An Amber Alert-inspired service for missing pets in The Villages will be the subject of a presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eisenhower Recreation Center.

Bill Gottschalk, president of the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County, Inc. and past president of the Villages Homeowners Association, will be making the presentation at the event hosted by the VHA South Region.

He will discuss the new program that is being offered to The Villages prior to nationwide release – the world’s first photo Amber Alert for missing pets called “mobiPet.”

In addition, Community Watch  Division Chief Bill Elliott, division chief will give a Power Point presentation that will include all facets of his department – gate operations, dispatch center, gate attendants as well as patrol drivers.
