Humana stunned Fross by scoring 7 runs in the 7th inning to pull out the 1 run win. They were paced by Jim Gordon (5 RBI’s) and Dave Oatley who both banged out 4 hits. In addition, John Hoover (5 RBI’s), Woody Wood and Tim Wilcox (3 RBI’s) all had 3 hits. Mike Labetti led Fross with 3 hits including a triple and a grand slam home run that led to 6 RBI’s. Al Mahar (3 RBI’s), Bill Landis, Craig Dahlquist, Al DuBuc and Dick Petulla all added 3 hits in the loss.

Synergy built a 7 run lead and held on to keep Harlan winless for the season. Bob Kelly led Synergy with 3 hits and Ed DeMaio added a solo homer and 2 RBI’s. Three players had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s each, Ed DeMaio, Mark Hildebrand and Rick Duemler. Rick Duemler made 2 great catches in the outfield to help preserve the win. Harlan was led by Wayne Gruenwald and Jim Rogers who each had 3 hits.

Arden outscored IHOP 7-2 in the late innings to pull out the win. Jack Meagher (3 RBI’s) and Ed Haith both had 3 hits for Arden while Marty Berger drove in 3 runs. Bob Jacques led IHOP with 3 hits and Tom Bolte crushed a 3 run homer. Jim Crabtree, Bill Reed and Ken Atkinson all added 2 hits in the loss.
