Linda Denby has been appointed to the Lady Lake Parks, Recreation and Tree Advisory Committee.
She was chosen Monday night over fellow applicant Phil Mathias.
Denby is active in Lady Lake Little League. She has three children, ages 11, 16 and 21. The 21-year-old is a volunteer umpire with Lady Lake Little League. The 11-year-old plays in Little League.
Also reappointed to the committee were Chyrle Lowery and Doris Turlo.
