At age 74, Frankie Avalon can still make the girls swoon.
His two shows set for Oct. 24 at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center are sold out. Tickets had gone on sale Aug. 12.
Avalon burst onto the scene as a teen-age heart throb in beach movies with Annette Funicello.
In all, Avalon has 30 motion picture credits and made cameos later in his career in the movies “Grease” and “Casino.”
He tours about six months a year.
