Kris “Tanto” Paronto, who fought through the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, is coming to The Villages next month.
He will be speaking and signing copies of his book, “13 Hours in Benghazi,” on November 23 at Savannah Center.
The event is co-sponsored by The Villages Tea Party and the Sumter County Republican Executive Committee.
A former Army Ranger and Blackwater Security consultant, Paronto was battling enemy forces on the day when four American lives, those of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods, and Glen Doherty, were lost.
