Applications have been arriving at the District Office for vacancies on two community development district supervisors vacancies.
CDD 2: An opening was created in October after the death of Supervisor Nick Jones. Applicants are Louis Amici, Bill Schikora and Andrew W. Aschmann. CDD 2 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 13 to interview applicants and make a selection.
CDD 8: Supervisor Joe Elliott announced last month that he would be moving out of CDD 8 and resigning his seat. Applicants to succeed Elliott are John Conboy III, Barbara DeCoste, Gene Murray and Phil Walker. CDD 8 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 20 and supervisors are expected to make an appointment at that time.
