The investigation in New York into the Nov. 9 death of Oscar Feliu is ongoing.
The Villages entertainer had been bowhunting in Friendship, N.Y. at the time of his sudden death. Feliu had been using a hunting stand when he suffered an apparent medical episode, during which he reportedly fell from the stand. Local law enforcement said he was found in an area far enough away from the tree stand to rule out an accidental fall. Feliu was pronounced dead at the scene by Allegany County Coroner Ted Crowell.
“He was bowhunting … ,” Allegany County District Attorney Keith Slep told The Wellsville N.Y. Daily Reporter. “There’s no evidence of foul play, no evidence of a crime.”
