Popular Villages entertainer Donna Moore will headline a benefit concert for The Villages’ Community Emergency Response Team on Jan. 22 at North Lake Presbyterian Church.

The fundraiser comes at a time when CERT faces significant financial challenges.
As formal funding continues to dwindle, CERT must now rely on charity events, to provide funding for training materials and disaster preparedness supplies.
CERT trains citizens in disaster preparedness as well as how to provide initial assistance to their families, neighbors and community during large medical emergencies or disasters, such as hurricanes and tornados. In addition, CERT provides first aid and traffic control services at virtually every major event, parade or Veterans Memorial Park service in The Villages.
