New Covenant United Methodist Church announces a full evening of health related programs on Monday evening., Jan. 11.
At 5 p.m. Jeff Whittman discusses “Nutrition: What Foods are Best for Us?” Whittman is a popular speaker in our area because his information is always timely, straight forward and clear to understand.
At 6 p.m., the church’s Congregational Health Team serves At 6:15 p.m., Judy Flickinger, RN, presents an hour long program focusing on “Living Well Until the End.” Flickinger has spent most of her nursing career caring for patients in hospice care. Information that she will share with us focuses on her research, personal experiences as a caregiver and the recent publication of a book. Her book provides helpful and hopeful information on ways to spend quality time during the last days/months of one’s life.
There is no required registration and no registration fee. This program is open to all persons in our surrounding community areas. The church’s address is 3470 Woodridge Drive, The Villages and is located behind Southern Trace Shopping Center.
