Buffalo Crossing 14  Babiarz Law 13

Our newest sponsor Buffalo Crossing managed by John Leone defeated the league’s oldest team Babiarz Law 14-13 by scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning. Babiarz had the early lead thanks to the 3 hits by manager Bob Winder and Bob Nyce. Seven other players had 2 hits one being a 3 run homer by Pat Perkins. Buffalo crossing had a hard time scoring early as Babiarz turned 4 double plays. Jim Wiegand had 4 hits and Gary DePalma had 3, the last one to drive in the winning run as Buffalo Crossing batted around.

Fross & Fross 8  Harlan  7

Fross & Fross scored 8 runs early and hung on to defeat Harlan Insurance 8-7. Led by John Gouin and Dave Pope’s 2 hits Fross scored in each of the first 3 innings. Harlan’s hot bat was Tom Ceglie with 3 hits and 3 rbi’s. Sponsor Bruce Harlan and Mike McCully added 2 hits apiece.

Paul Davis  13  Humana 7

Paul Davis Restorations defeated Humana 13-7 behind the 3 hit 3 rbi performance of lead off man Bob Kelly. Tom Ledoux, Don Melcher, and Bob Buchanan had 2 hits each. Humana’s hot bats were in the middle of the lineup with Dave Oatley and Tom Ramberg each having 3 hits and Gary Luck and Ed Bergheimer 2 hits in the loss.

IHOP 8  Arden Jewelers 7

IHOP scored 5 runs in the 4th to overtake Arden Jewelers and held on for the win 8-7. IHOP got 3 hits from Bill Reed and 2 from Bob Cramer, Duane Broschat, Tim Healy, and Dan McPherson, who homered. Arden’s offense was led by the 2 hits from John Long, Jim Kennedy, Pete Glowacki, and Mark Schiffauer. Dave Blandford had a triple to drive in 2 runs for the losers.

Mulberry 18  Perkins 17

Mulberry Integrative Medicine holds off Perkins in a slug fest 18-17. Lead off batter Mike Bernbach was perfect with 4 hits, while Ed Haith and Jack Nagle had 3 to lead Mulberry. In addition, John Kushner had a 2 run homer and 2 sacrifice flies to drive in 4 runs. Perkins’ big bats were Mike Hyott, Bob Strolin, and Jim Glover with 3 hits each.

Synergy 16  3 Amigos 14

Synergy Wealth outlasts 3 Amigos 16-14. John Reedy led Synergy with 4 hits and 3 rbi’s, while Rick Fredieu, Dick Adams, and manager, Vernon Brooks all chipped in 3 hits. The Amigos got 4 hits from Dave Hinkley and Al DuBuc, while Manny Sanchez, Terry Brooks, Jim Rogers, and Mark Hildebrand had 2 apiece. One of Mark’s hits was a line drive over the score board for an out of the park homer.
