IHOP defeated 3 Amigos 14-12
Bob Cramer was perfect with 4 hits and 4 runs scored. Larry Williams had 3 hits, 3 runs scored, and drove in 4 runs. Duane Broschat, Wayne Mallory, Jerry Jensen, and Tim Healey all added 2 hits for the winners. 3 Amigos’ Rod Severson had 3 hits and drove in 5 runs and Tom Fulton’s 3 hits drove in 2 runs. John Ashby, Al DuBuc, Bill Pauldine, and, manager Wayne Grunewald all had 2 hits in the losing effort.
Synergy Wealth held on to beat Babiarz Law 19-15
Synergy was led by Rick Duemler’s 4 hits, which included a homer and 5 runs driven in. Vince Pezzullo and sub pitcher Jim Joseph each had 3 hits. Doug St.Andrews, Rick Fredieu, and Jim Creed had 2 hits each and accounted for 7 rbi’s. Babiarz had 3 hits apiece from: Chuck Mays, Felix Rodriguez, John Charles, Doug Nantais, and, pitcher Bob Marano.
Perkins Restaurant’s Denis Hodge delivered the walk off single to defeat Buffalo Crossing 14-13
Jim Morton led Perkins with a 4/4 day and 3 runs driven in. Manager Vin Stebbins, lead off man, Bob Strolin, and Hodge all had 3 hits on the day. Jim Glover, Jim Walter, and Mike Hyott chipped in with 2 hits apiece. Buffalo Crossing got 3 hits from: Joe DeGeorge and Gary DePalma. Jack Coit, Jim Wiegand, Joe Cataldi, Jim Harrison, Roger Duncan, and Tom Winegarden contributed 2 hits each, with one of Winegarden’s being a homer.
Fross & Fross scored 4 or more runs in each of the first 5 innings and ran away from Arden Jewelers 23-16
Fross was led by the 3 hit days of Ron Rowe, John Buchanan, Jim Wheeler, Jim Joseph, and Ed Chirumbolo. John Gouin had 2 hits and a sac fly to drive in 4 runs for Fross & Fross. Arden’s offense woke up late and managed to score 5 runs in both the 5th and 6th innings. John Long, Jim Kennedy, Jack Meagher, Mark Schiffhauer, Lou Daigle all had 3 hits.
The last game of the day saw Softball’s R Game defeat Humana 13-9
SRG’s Dennis Bauch was perfect at the plate with 4 hits and 4 runs driven in. Scott Marshall had 3 hits while: Bill Nisbet, Don Mulneix, Dick Smith, Ed Krisha, Gerry Street, and sub Dick Stieglitz all had 2 hits. Humana’s lead off man Tom Ramberg had 3 hits. Tom McGann, Chuck Bowman, Scott King, and manager Jim Sherman all contributed 2 hits for the losers.
