Residents were without water after a major water main break in the Village of Sabal Chase. Crews were working to repair the problem near the Tanglewood Villas.

Diane Tucker of District administration was out Monday morning personally checking on the situation. Water service was restored to residents at about noon Monday.

The District has ordered a precautionary boil order for homes at the following locations:
1795, 1783 Canal Street (Postal & Pool)
Carlton Villas
Hampton Villas
Oleander Villas
Golden Grove Drive
Mountville Court
Magrath Way
Oswego Lane
Guerard Avenue
Feliciana Terrace
Pamplico Court
Ridgeland Path
Winnsboro Drive

This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and bacteriological tests show that the water is safe.
