Softball’s R Game wrapped up the regular season title with a 14-13 victory over 3 Amigos.
SRG got 3 hits each from Jim Stencil, Bill Dunkley, Bill Nisbet and Gerry Street. Pitcher, Ed Krisha helped his cause by driving 3 runs with a sac fly and a triple. 3 Amigos had 3 hits and 3 rbi’s from Rod Severson and Mark Hildebrand. Pitcher, John Ashby drove in 3 runs with a pair of singles and Tom Fulton’s 2 singles drove in 2 runs. Manny Sanchez hit a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 7th to get the Amigos within 2 runs of tying the game.
Arden Jewelers beat Humana 19-12 to win their 3rd game of the season.
Arden was led by Bob Nizlek, who had 4 hits and 5 rbi’s. Adding 3 hits each for Arden were: Roy Warter, Rick Poland, John Long, David Blandford, and manager, Jim Allison. Humana’s Dave Oatley stroked 4 hits; while, Ed Bergheimer and Bob Roth had 3 a piece.
Synergy Wealth defeated Buffalo Crossing 17-3, holding them to only 10 hits.
Synergy’s offense was led by Jim Creed’s 5 hits. Adding 3 hits each were: Rick Duemler, John Reedy, Rick Fredieu, Vince Pezzulo, and Vernon Brooks. Doug St.Andrews had a solo homer. Jim Wiegand accounted for 3 of Buffalo’s hits; while, Jack Coit and Joe Cataldi had a pair each in the loss.
Fross & Fross holds on to beat Perkins Restaurant 11-9.
Fross’ Jim Wheeler and Jim Joseph each had 4 hits. Ed Chirumbolo and Tom Guinan had a pair of singles with Tom driving in 2 runs. Perkins got 3 hits from Jim Glover and 2 hits each from: Bob Stolin, Jim Walter, Ken Link, Bob Jacques, Mike Hyott, Vin Stebbins, Woody Wood, and Ray Beaupre.
Paul Davis Restorations defeated Babiarz Law 15-10.
Paul Davis was led by the 3 hits each from: Jeff Bekasi, Mike Hughes, and Chick Cicatelli. Adding a pair of hits were: Bob Kelly, Bob Buchanan, Tom Farrell, Bob DePace, and Jim Moyer. Babiarz was led by John Plunkard’s 3 hits; while, Ed Moriarity, Bob Winder, Tom Bent, Rick Poland, and Doug Nantais all had 2 hits. Nantais had a solo homer in the fifth.
IHOP continued their winning streak with an 11-6 win over Mulberry Integrative Medicine.
IHOP got a 3 run homer by Bob Cramer and a 2 run homer from Bill Reed. Reed also had a triple and a single to drive in 3 more runs. Jerry Jensen also had a triple and 2 singles. Mulberry got 2 hits each from Jack Nagle, Mark Goodwin, and 3 from sub Don Brozick.
