No vendors have submitted bids to serve snacks at the new El Santiago Recreation Center.
The Amenity Authority Committee had hoped that a vendor would step forward to serve drinks and snacks on a patio area at the recreation center.
“That was a high priority for the residents of that area,” said AAC member Don Deakin.
Residents had been divided on whether a restaurant or recreation center had been located at that spot. Many were unhappy to see the El Santiago Club restaurant close at that site several years ago.
