A man was transported by ambulance to The Villages Regional Hospital after his golf cart collided with a landscaping vehicle Tuesday afternoon near the Sabal Chase pool.
The driver of the golf cart had been heading south on Canal Street and did not see the parked landscape vehicle, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
His golf cart collided with the back of the landscape vehicle.
The golf cart driver, who suffered minor injuries was cited for careless driving.
