The Town of Lady Lake is selling two lots on Skyline Drive to a construction company for a total of $10,000.
In a special meeting on Wednesday night, the Lady Lake Commission voted 3-1 to sell the lots to L &G Construction of Central Florida for $5,000 each. The lots are located at 217 and 221 Skyline Drive.
However, Commissioner Paul Hannan reiterated his earlier dissenting opinion about the deal, indicating he believed the town could have gotten more money for the land.
The former realtor said his reasoning had fallen on deaf ears.
“I came at it like a realtor, which was entirely over your heads,” he said.
Mayor Ruth Kussard and Commissioners Tony Holden and Dan Vincent voted in favor the deal. Commissioner Jim Richards was absent.
