The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that sent two occupants of a golf cart to The Villages Regional Hospital.
The golf cart was northbound on Morse Boulevard near Soledad Way at about noon and traveling in the golf cart lane when a vehicle which was also northbound made a right-hand turn. The vehicle had a near miss with the golf cart. The golf cart driver braked hard and the golf cart hit a curb and overturned, according to preliminary accident information from law enforcement.
