Volunteers are needed for a pair of parades coming up in October in The Villages.
The Italian-American Parade is scheduled for Tuesday Oct. 4 and the Oktoberfest Parade will take place two weeks later on Tuesday Oct. 18 in Spanish Springs Town Square.
The primary functions needed are:
• Staging: The organizing before the parades,
• Parade Marshals: To accompany the groups along the parade route
• Crossing Marshals: To man the intersections along the route
• Clean-Up: To help take down signs and tents etc. after the parade.
