Residents are encouraged to turn out for National Night Out on Tuesday evening at Home Depot on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.
National Night Out offers an opportunity for area residents to meet law enforcement officers and firefighters. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m.
Law Enforcement and fire rescue vehicles will be on display.
There will be free hot dogs and free haircuts for children.
There will also be free blood pressure and vision screening, bicycle safety courses and bicycle and helmet giveaways.
There will be face painting and activities for children.
