Four of the five games played on Tuesday were decided by one run as the home team came from behind to win.

The other game saw Fross & Fross win their first game of the season defeating Paul Davis Restorations 11-5.

Ron Rowe led the Fross team with four hits, while John Buchanan, Dave Pope and Jim Morton chipped in three hits each. Paul Davis got three hits from Jack Meagher, and two each from: Bob Kelly, Bob Buchanan, and Vin Stebbins.

Harlan Insurance won it’s game with Palm Ridge Dental 3-2 with a walk off single by Fred Hughes that drove in two runs.

Palm Ridge had taken the lead in the top of the sixth inning 3-2. Palm Ridge was led by John Goulet, Andy Betanzos, and Bobby Green, who all had two hits. Harlan had two hits by Ken Atkinson and David Blandford. Jim Fetela drove in a run with a triple in the second.

Synergy Wealth manager, Vernon Brooks, drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Synergy batted around to score 7 runs and overtook Babiarz Law 13-12.

Synergy had three hits from Mike Hughes, while John Reedy, Rick Fredieu, Mark Schiffhauer, and Mike Bernbach all had two hits. Jim Creed drove in two runs with a triple in the 7th and Reedy drove in two with a home run also in the seventh. Babiarz’s Don Evans was perfect with four hits on the day. Manager, Bob Winder, Ed Moriarity, and Ev Rhyner each had three hits.

Softball’s R Game scored 6 runs in the bottom of the seventh, with Vince Pezzullo driving the winning runs with a double, to overtake Humana 9-8.

SRG had two each from: Vince Pezzullo, Roy Warter, Ed Krisha, and Al DuBuc. Humana was led by Mark Goodwin’s 3 hits ;and, Tom McGann, Bob Roth, and Tim Wilcox, who rapped out two hits each.

Arden Jewelers had to score 6 runs in the bottom of the seventh to overcome IHOP 19-18.

Mark Hildebrand had four doubles and Al Mahar had a single, two doubles and a triple to lead Arden. Rod Severson, Pat Perkins, and Dick Adams all had three hits for the winners. IHOP got four hits from Ron Goldman, Wayne Mallory and Rich Bergman. Mike Hyott got three hits and drove in two runs with a triple.
