To the Editor:
Life would get a lot more uncertain under Donald Trump. He says he plans to repeal the Dodd-Frank bill, which was put in place to prevent another stock market crash like 2008. Trump has dodged questions on social security. But he turned a blind eye when the Republicans redid their platform to support privatizing Social Security. That would make Social Security checks subject to the whims of the stock market.
Getting old is trouble enough without having to worry about Trump undoing our safety net.
