Have you ever thought about getting off of the multi-modal paths to try cycling on the roadway?
Here is your opportunity. This Saturday morning commencing at 7:30 the cycling community is supporting the Hearts for Our Hospital Charity Ride. It is an opportunity for cyclists of all levels to participate in one of four routes in and around The Villages. The 17, 32, 64 and 100 mile routes are supported by local bike shop vans and mechanics, Sumter, Lady Lake and Wildwood law enforcement, Villages EMS personnel and gate attendants. Dedicated marshals cycling each route will answer questions and guide the cyclists along each route. Rest stops will supply food and drinks along the way.
