Trump is a hater. Trump is profane. Trump is a racist. Trump is a xenophobe. Trump is a misogynist. Trump is stupid. Trump is an idiot. Trump will destroy the country. Trump hates foreigners. (He hates them so bad, he married one or two).
Every time I read these complaints by the Democrats, I realize they have no platform. It is only personal, verbal attacks. That makes me extremely happy and giddy! As long as they don’t see the full picture, the Democrats will continue to get their butts whipped in additional elections. They just don’t get it.
I love the statement that you can win the battle but lose the war. I believe this applies directly to our current president, Barack Obama. He won two battles for the Democratic Party in 2008 and 2012 and was the first African-American elected as president of the United States. That was a great thing in my opinion. I do not believe the policies and changes he instituted were a great thing for the United States.
Unfortunately for the Democrats, he did not win the war and I’ll explain that later. He and Hillary Clinton have destroyed the possibilities for the Democrats at the present time.
I want to assume that all the things I’ve heard from Trump protesters listed above are true. (They aren’t, but for this discussion let’s put that in the back and go forward from there). As long as the Democrats continue to use that as their “new ideas and policies for the country”, the Republicans will continue to give them a shellacking.
I love to use facts as many of you are already aware. Democrats just don’t like those. Here we go, the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY for the Democrats:
The good for the Democrats.
Democrats won popular vote by 2.9 million votes. Congratulations. It will continue to mean nothing in presidential elections.
Democrats won California by 4.3 million votes. (I hope an earthquake doesn’t shove California into the Pacific Ocean-San Andreas Fault). If that happened, Trump wins popular vote by 1.4 million votes in the other 49 States. For all you Democratic attackers, I am not hoping that happens. I was born and lived in California, and four of my six children were also born there. Pick something else to attack me on!
The bad for the Democrats.
Trump won the electoral votes 304 – 227. (I know, the little, local Democratic group is trying to repeal the electoral college. Good luck on that. Here is why.
Republicans won the governorships by a margin of 33 – 16. There is one independent. These are the people that implement policy and have a large say in redistricting in a particular state to favor the incumbent party. That is the Republicans.
Republicans won the Senate, by a margin of 52 – 48. If you think that number is bad, wait for 2018, when the Democrats have many more senators up for reelection then the Republicans. Good luck on that one.
The Republicans won the House of Representatives 241 – 194. That is where all the bills start to change thee Country. That has already occurred, with the first vote yesterday on the dismantling of the un- affordable care act. There are more votes coming.
The Republicans now control both state houses in 32 states. (71%!) The Democrats only control 13. The others are split with each party controlling one of the houses.
Trump won 2626 counties across the United States. Clinton is given credit for 487. Good luck on that one.
209 counties that had been won by Barack Obama twice, were lost by Clinton to the Republicans in this election. In counties that Obama won only once, she lost 194 out of the 207! Definite change and a trend.
The ugly:
The Republicans have 16 candidates remaining from this election cycle chomping at the bit for another opportunity somewhere down the line. Many of those were favorites of the base Republican party. No one knows who else will emerge when Trump has served his eight years, but the Republican Party seems to be in good condition.
The Democrats are in a state of disarray with leadership of their party up for grabs. The current leaders are getting up there in age (Pelosi, Sanders, etc.). Names and players will change before the next election, but here are the three that seem to be receiving the majority of support at the present time.
Bernie Sanders – an avowed socialist that was unable to beat who many have called “crooked Hillary” (Please understand I did not call her that as I try and stay away from personal attacks and limit arguments to policies and actions), while offering free socialist items to everyone! I don’t believe the country is ready for a socialist. That is working so well in the countries that are using it….
Elizabeth Warren – I’m not sure what she is and evidently she doesn’t know either! I think she claimed to be 1/16, or 1/32 Native American for personal purposes. She wasn’t able to even tell the truth about her nationality. Do we really want to trust her to tell the truth if she is in charge of the government?
Keith Ellison-(I’m serious on this one!). I believe he is the only avowed Muslim congressman in our country and serves in Minnesota. Minnesota has gone through a tremendous increase in Muslim population and there have even been several court cases where sharia law has been used as an argument. I hope all my Democratic friends know what sharia law is. I guess I also need to mention here that Keith Ellison is not only a Muslim but an attorney! Does that scare anyone else, even a little bit? Do you think the country is ready for a Muslim ATTORNEY to be in charge of our country? I’m afraid to imagine what the policies of that administration might be.
The Democrats in their talking points continue to use the above talking points and attack Donald Trump. That will undoubtedly continue for four or eight years. The people will have a history of what has improved in the country and make a determination who to vote for in 2020 for president. I don’t have a crystal ball and no one else does either, but I believe the progress in so many areas the public actually cares about, will lead to an even larger victory by Donald Trump and Republicans in 2020. The first item that will compute into that is the election of senators in 2018. The Democrats need to be prepared for even a larger separation of Democratic and Republican senators at that time. Good luck on that one!
I will remain happy and giddy as long as the Democrats continue with no policy, and nominating people like Hillary Clinton to run for president or any of the above three. The announcement made yesterday stated Democrats spent 1.2 BILLION dollars on her run for president. I’m sure glad they are no longer in charge of making money decisions for our country……
