The Community Improvement Council will be set up on the sidewalk across from Panera, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday selling safety flashers for walkers and joggers.
The CIC asks for a $5 donation for each flasher. Three dollars is used to purchase another flasher and lanyard, and the other $2 goes into our fund to purchase wheelchairs for the recreation centers. The CIC recently purchased a wheelchair for each of the town squares.
